Welcome to the website for the number one underwater hockey team in Newport! We're a very friendly club and we are always happy to welcome anyone who is interested in taking part in this exciting and challenging sport.

Newport 10 Year Anniversary Tournament! - 18th April 2009
All are welcome to come and compete in this tournament to celebrate 10 glorious octopushing years since Newport Octopush Club began.

We are lucky to have a great venue - our 25 metre, 8-lane competition pool, with two metre constant depth.  See http://tinyurl.com/NewportOcto for the exact location.

Registration is at 12:30, with pooltime from 1 until 5pm, at which point we will go to the Cricket club (just across the car park) for food and drink and a presentation.

Fees of £75 per team (includes food) must be received by the end of March.

Competition dates
The club will be competing in several competitions over the coming months. If you're interested in participating, contact Steve Blundell for away and Kevin Rogers for home tournaments.

Training Times
Monday 21:00 - 22:00 (except bank holidays) at the Newport International Sports Village Pool

Wednesday 21:00 - 22:00 at Cardiff International pool

Protocol
There isn't one! We can loan you all the kit you need, just bring a swimming costume and a towel and turn up on a Monday night at 9:00. We are a friendly mixed club of all abilities and ages. The first session is free so come along and try it out!

Cost
The first two sessions are free and then it's £4.50 a session or £2.50 for students and junior players.
